Pertussis

So he is positive for pertussis ( Whooping cough) We are in quarantine til this weekend. But that does not grantee we get to come home. We could be he upward of weeks. Because he can not breath on his own after he coughs which is lot. As long as he needs oxygen we will be here. Chandler and I will be taking a CPR class today, so that we will be trained for if we needed, when we go home. The thing with pertussis is that it is not a fast recovery it can take months to be back to good health. I'll keep you all posted on his progress.

Hospitals Hospitals and more Hospitals

 As most of of you know about a month ago Noah had emergency surgery.  He was lethargic and lost a pound in four days, he was throwing up all the time. He had was is called Pyloric Stenosis which is when your stomach closes off to the small intestine. Causing him to get quite ill. We went in on Saturday night, on Sunday he had surgery, and we were home on Monday! He recovered well from it.

Now a month later we are back to the hospital, It started about two weeks ago with a little cough and a stuffy nose. Which got worse as time went on. I tried everything, I kept him in his room with the humidifier all day long sucked his nose all the time, nothing seemed to help. On Monday i had finally had enough. I called our doctor to take him in but to my knowledge i didn't know doctors closed for Columbus day!!! who knew!!! So that left me no choice off to Primary Children's! We were admitted into the hospital and here we are still waiting for our test results.

They are pretty sure he has pertussis so we are being quarantined in the IMSU. they come in with masks and aprons and gloves. we can not have visitors. and y poor lil one is on oxygen because he has coughing spells that cause him to not breath. So we could be here a few days til he can recover on his own. I find it so funny that it takes twice as long to get a lab result on a virus then it does on his stomach. so we are not sure how long we will be here. we are not really sure why we are here, and what is wrong with my lil man! but it is heart breaking that is for sure

More Bed rest. . . .

So I went to the doctors yesterday, and Nothing has changed I'm still not thinned and dilated nothing. So they sent me out for blood work, everything is fine from those tests, I'm scheduled to go in on Friday to get a non stress test,  My doctor is worried about it because I'm having crazy contractions. which is frustrating to go threw that on it not doing anything to get Noah here. I'm still on bed rest, the sad thing about bed rest is that, I'll be two weeks on bed rest this week, only leaving me four weeks to be with Noah when he gets here. I just hope he is okay and nothing to serious is going on. I'll keep you posted.

Allie says I need to write on this. So I am. And I have just the topic. I'm really excited for our son to be born. The problem is, he's more stubborn than his mother. Four trips to the hospital, one including the ER, and still no baby. I swear if I go there one more time and leave without my kid and my wife being separate people, I'm going to crack somebody right upside their skull. I've been exhausted after every trip, because I get so excited when we are there, and then we don't have a baby, and it just sucks me dry.

Just rambling

Life goes by way to fast. . .  It is almost august where did this year go. My Lil boy will be here in 16 days! I remember thinking it was going to take forever. Its around the corner. A Lil over a year ago I remember telling chandler we will never get done with schooling for him. He is graduating this fall. I cant believe it.

Noah is growing great. This pregnancy has been so easy, I'm just so excited to meet him. To see what he looks like, will he have chandlers eyes and my nose. or will he have my eyes and chandler nose. I really hope he comes out a good looking baby boy. I cant wait to see Chandler as a daddy, He is a great uncle. He'll even be a better dad. I just makes my heart feel with so much joy just thinking about it. But to actually see him as a daddy. . . I cant wait to see him hold our son!

10 weeks. . .

Wow in a lil less then ten weeks I'll be a mom. The time sure has flown by. Im so excited to meet him. To hold something that is part of me. Being pregant is truely one of the most amazing things ever, What a true blessing that I am blessed to experince. Im  forever greatful. It seems yesterday I was sneaking out of my parents house to see chandler. and now to be having a child. Life really goes by way to fast. Its sad how much I really due take for granteted. Im going to try to enjoy life more. Enjoy the lil things before they are gone.

Kickin Mommy

So I started feeling him kick me!! I love it! It is such an amazing thing, It is so real now! Hard enough that chan felt him last night! To see that smile on his face was priceless!! Its all so real for him now! Im not looking forward to the summer being pregant Im aready sweating from it being hot! ha ha ha and it is not even summer time yet!! im in trouble!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!

So yesterday we went in and found out what we are having!! Its a boy!!! I got my boy!! he will be here around august 14th!! I hope it comes a two days late!! we have tickets to lion king for the 15th !! His name is Noah Grant Durrant!! He is going to be thee cutest kid ever! His nursery is sport themed!! Im so happy to start SHOPPING!!! I now know what to buy!!

So there is a baby. . . .

So I think my big fear was that there would be nothing, or there would be a mole.  But there is a baby with a heart beat!!!! We are 13 weeks along! It was amazing seeing that lil heart beat beating so fast! It kinda is unbeliveable that such a lil fragile thing is grown in me. The poor thing stands no chance at being normal with me as a mom and chandler as a dad!! ha ha ha. but on a better note, Chandler was so cute about it, It didnt think the baby would have legs and arms yet that part just kinda freaked him out a bit, but in the best way possible! We go back in a month! Cant wait to know what it is so I can SHOP and DECORATE!!!!

Im nervous . . .

So tomorrow we go to the first baby doctors appointment. Im nervous I think of the worst thinks that could happen, Like the pregnant test lied and we are not  pregnant, how sad would that be! it doesnt help im tired I worked from four this morning to six tonight so my mind is playing tricks on me. but after tomorrow we will know more, like how far, and all that good stuff. but Im still scared! but im a wuss too. Ill let you all know how it goes. wish me luck. cus I dont care for the doctors!!!!

Baby Durrant. . .

Well We found out about a month and a half ago we are going to be having a lil one! I cant wait to me a mom! being pregnant has its ups and down had the oddest first real craving the other day bet you cant guess.. . . sour cream!! ya so I went and got a salad at bajio and had them add the sour cream, as for thoes emotional break downs today was my first my poor hubby I called him at 3;30 this afternoon after being at work it was a awful day at work i had not eatin all day and i was starving and i wanted arbys but i could not find one so i call him BAWLING!!! ya i feel dumb but what can i do its a funny story and all he did was " babe it is okay i will gps it and send it to your gps so you can find it! and he was trying not to laugh, but then turned and told all the guys at work and they had a good laugh!!
Im hoping for a boy!! i really am!! chandler wants a girl so he can spoil her rotton! but we will just have to wait and see after our doctors appointment her a few weeks!!!
